Technical requirements
Material requirements: composition from the outer layer to the inner layer:
- Nonwoven top sheet: the inner nonwoven layer comes into direct contact with the skin.
- PE film backsheet (polyethylene film): prevents liquid from leaking from the liner.
- Airlaid paper: pulp formed into sheets to absorb liquid.
- PE film wrapping (polyethylene film): packages and protects the panty liner.
- Silicone release paper: covers the positioning adhesive.
- Positioning adhesive: keeps the liner in place and allows easy removal after use.
Safety, hygiene, health and environmental requirements
- The materials used must not affect consumer health.
- The products are guaranteed not to cause skin irritation.
- The product is not harmful to consumers.
Pad appearance requirements
- Top sheet (inner layer): soft and breathable.
- Panty liner shape: symmetrical and comfortable to wear.
- Materials: correctly positioned and in good condition.
- Colour: clean white, without stains or yellowing.
Adhesive is used at the material joints to keep the materials in good condition. It must not spill beyond the designated lines.
